St. Anne Church. A good place to visit in Bukit Mertajam, Penang

Yesterday night was St. Anne church festival. You can see lots people praying there and some of them are holding long candle and some of the people holding short candle. The church in the picture is the main church and it was opened in 1888.

People around the world come to pray every year during this festival.

I like this festival very much. When I was young, my house just opposite this church. Every year during St. Anne festival, I can see all the beautiful candle light up the whole mountain behind the church.

But when I in primary school, our family move to others place, so I seldom visit his church again....I really miss it..
